Our family's dedication to winemaking has spanned at least three decades with third generation Australian Littores getting in amongst the vines. Despite our increased capacity, to this day the vineyards, winery, cellar door and exporting are all overseen by Littores.

Mario and Aurora Littore migrated from the Mediterranean island Lipari, off the north coast of Sicily in 1953. After many years in Melbourne, the couple and their four sons re-settled in Mildura; a place of unrelenting sunshine reminiscent of their Italian homeland and described by them as "God's own country". Perfect for growing vines.

Just as their forebears had tended vines in Lipari, the family started
its first vineyard of around 40 acres in June 1976.

In 2008, Vince and Jane Littore manage the winery operations and exports in Geelong, while David and Sharyn Littore manage more than 1500 hectares of vineyards in the Sunraysia district - all with the assistance of a large team of dedicated employees.

Meanwhile, Mario and Aurora are retired and live on a property adjoining their original vineyard with the backdrop of the Murray River. They produce wonderful homemade tomato sauce, cannoli and other Italian delicacies, tend a beautiful garden and drink wine!
