Cabernet Sauvignon

This wine balances the typical blackcurrant, mint and herbal characters of the variety with ripe strawberry, jammy aromas. A layer of sweet American and fine French oak adds complexity and depth. The fruit bouquet is complemented by a rich, full palate with soft tannins and a long finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon can tread a fine line between being thin and weedy, or being stewed and non-varietal. With the implementation of selected organic practices in our vineyards, we have been able to retain the traditional Cabernet varietal flavours complemented by riper blackcurrant, cassis fruit flavours. With cooler ferment temperatures and pumping over 3 times per day, the extraction of colour, flavour and tannin was optimised. The wine was aged on French oak, blended when in balance, minimally filtered and bottled.
