They vary according to the category one intends to follow and the ability to obtain the qualifications required to carry out the activity. In this scenario, is having qualifications in category C, D, or E or not having certain infractions in the last 12 months enough? Or is there any other mandatory course on that list?

To clarify all these issues once and for all, we decided to cover in this article all the details about the skills required for each driver. Be sure to check it out!

The importance of training for drivers

Equally important to being fit in the category that enables the driver to drive certain types of vehicles is the completion of mandatory courses.

These rules are important, mainly, to ensure all the safety and professionalism that companies and traffic demand.

This is because it is no secret that the good behavior of drivers is a determining factor in reducing accidents. And, as if this issue alone were not enough, we have other benefits as well.

Among them is a better understanding of the legal issues surrounding the profession and greater risk control. And still, the reduction of costs and the better use of vehicles, where the driver starts to appreciate the greater durability.

Are there mandatory courses for professional drivers?

To change the category, in general, the driver already takes some courses and uses some tools such as simulators, practical classes, among others.

However, these requirements are not the only ones for someone who wants to drive professionally.

Depending on the area you want to work, that is, in the transport of cargo or people, there will be a mandatory course to be taken.

The courses provided by law are required for drivers of collective passenger transport vehicles, school transport, hazardous products, emergency, and indivisible cargo transport vehicles, in addition to motorcycle freight and motorcycle taxi. And it is some of them that we will talk about next.
